Update-Amy

Over half term we finished filming our opening. We filmed in the office and corridor scenes on the Friday the 18th when we had a inset day, which meant the whole college was literally empty meaning we could get everything filmed without any interruptions. We filmed all scenes in the office, all the scenes in the toilet and all the scenes in the corridors.
Filming through the corridors was easy and we just hope that our shots are well framed so they look professional,  fit to match on action and keep continuity between the different rooms.
Shooting in the office went well and we created our own office desk on one of the tables so we didn't disturb any of desks with confidential information on and meant that filming was easier as it was one straight walk from the door to the desk.
The bathroom scene had a few problems including how we were going to film without getting the camera in view and also because the bathroom  is very bright meaning we had to try cover windows with black card and hold a umbrella up next to a window to block some of the light.
Problems we had when filming was that the rooms weren't dark enough meaning we had to close blinds and try and block off as much light as possible using the lighting umbrellas. We then used artificial lighting to create the right effect we wanted. other problems we had was framing as we had to try our best to get everything in the frame we wanted and also trying to get the computer screen to show on camera, which was a problem so we may have to add in a screen shot so people will see what the computer says. We also couldn't show all the different rules when filming for example the 180 degree rule as there is no dialogue between characters during our opening.

In addition on the Wednesday in half term we also filmed our outdoor scenes but sadly i could not be there for the filming as i was ill. i have been told filming ran smoothly there but they had problems with white balance. (one of the other group members will comment about this day)

In conclusion I think filming our opening has gone very well and I think once we have edited our opening so it is completed I think the whole thing will look really good.
